Nurses have played a central role on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic from the start. How has their state of mental health fared through it all? The results of a survey of Quebec nurses and licenced practical nurses showed that COVID-19 had a negative impact in this regard. Also, being a woman and belonging to generation X or Y were factors found to be associated with higher levels of both psychological distress and depression symptoms.
