Geneviève Rouleau was invited to give a 90-minute workshop on the virtual patient simulator at the HIV Center for Clinical and Behavioral Studies of the New York State Psychiatric Institute and Columbia University.

The workshop consisted of an overview of how the simulator was developed, a demonstration of how the simulator works in group mode, and a presentation of results regarding the evaluation of the simulator’s acceptability among French-speaking nurses in Quebec. Many of the workshop participants were HIV health professionals and researchers with solid expertise in motivation interviewing.
