Scientific Committee

The Scientific Committee advises the Chairholder, reviews and approves the research undertaken within the framework of the Chair’s mandate when necessary, establishes selection criteria for scholarship competitions, and evaluates candidate applications.

The committee is composed of the following people (in alphabetical order):

• José Côté, RN, PhD, current Chairholder, Committee Chair
• Lise Gauvin, PhD, professor at the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, École de santé publique, Université de Montréal and researcher at the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal Research Center (CRCHUM) 
• Joumana Fawaz, RN, MSc, conseillère en soins spécialisés - soins de plaies, Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM)
• Kareen Nour, PhD, professor at the Université de Montréal Faculty of Medicine
• Pilar Ramirez-Garcia, RN, PhD, professor at the Université de Montréal Faculty of Nursing and researcher at the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal Research Center (CRCHUM) 
• Patricia Auger, MSc, Coordinator of the Research Chair in Innovative Nursing Practices, Committee Secretary
